Police investigating after body is found in S.E. Oklahoma City

Body found in southeast Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are investigating after a body was found in southeast Oklahoma City.

Around 1:30 p.m. Thursday, police say a body was found near S.E. 59th and Choctaw Road.

Authorities say a driver called dispatchers after spotting something like looked like a body along the side of the road.

When officers arrived at the scene, they say they found a body that had been there “quite some time.”

At this point, they say it will be up to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the victim’s identity.
