Police investigating after victim pistol whipped in northwest Oklahoma City

Victim assaulted near NW 36th & MacArthur

OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities are investigating after one person was injured in northwest Oklahoma City.

Around 4:30 p.m., officers were called to the 3500 block of N. MacArthur regarding a possible double shooting at a Dollar General.

Once officials arrived, they learned that one person was pistol whipped at a business in the area.

Fortunately, no one was shot.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The Oklahoma City Police Department and the Warr Acres Police Department are investigating.

Initial reports indicate that two possible suspects fled the scene in a red Dodge Ram pickup truck.
