The U.S. Olympic Trials for Men's Gymnastics will take place on June 23rd and June 25th in St. Louis, Missouri.

A field of 18 of the country's best gymnasts will vie for five spots to represent Team U.S.A in Rio de Janeiro this summer.

Of those 18 competitors, six will hail from the University of Oklahoma.

Recent NCAA Champions Yul Moldauer (sophomore) and Kanji Oyama (graduated 2016) will join former Sooners Chris Brooks, Jake Dalton, Alex Naddour, and assistant coach Steven Legendre.

Dalton was a member of the 2012 Olympic Team USA which placed fifth overall in London. Legendre was an alternate on that squad as well.

Also joining the Sooners of past and present will be head coach Mark Williams.

If one or more of his athletes makes Team U.S.A, Williams will join as one of the coaches in Rio.
