Multiple homes evacuated in S.W. Oklahoma City after gas line is hit

OKLAHOMA CITY – Multiple homes in southwest Oklahoma City were evacuated Tuesday morning after a gas line was hit.

Around 10:30 a.m., fire officials say a medium pressure gas line was hit by an auger in the 1200 block of S.W. 38th.

Five houses to the north of the leak were evacuated as a precautionary measure.

ONG was called to the scene.
