Oklahoma man sentenced to death on murder charges

OKLAHOMA CITY – A jury has sentenced Albert Johnson to death for the rape and murder of an Oklahoma woman.

The 49-year-old was found guilty last week for the June 2014 crimes of raping and assaulting two women in the Village, killing one of them.

He was sentenced to 10 life sentences for the rape and kidnapping charges.

Police received a call about an assault at a home on Lakeside Dr.

Once there, they found two women in the home with severe injuries.

They were rushed to the hospital, but one woman, 24-year-old Rachel Rogers, died.
