FBI searching for serial bank robber

TULSA, Okla. – Agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation are asking for help finding an alleged serial bank robber.

Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Jesse Bud Leaverton for a bank robbery in Tulsa earlier this month.

Leaverton is accused of robbing the Arvest Bank in Tulsa and is a person of interest in the bank robberies of the Bank of America in Tulsa,  Security State Bank in Fairfax and Platte Valley Bank in Dearborn, Missouri.

In each case, investigators say the suspect hands a demand note to the teller and claims to have a weapon.
