Police: Man robbed trying to help woman having car trouble in northwest Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – An Oklahoma City man says he was robbed while trying to help a woman in need.

A victim called police after he said he was driving near N.W. 80th St. and N. Rockwell Ave. and saw a woman who appeared to be having car trouble.

According to the police report, the victim told officers that he pulled into the parking lot near her car and asked if she needed any help.

The victim says the alleged suspect told him that she needed gas money. The victim said he would lend her the money, but would need a phone number in order to get it back.

At that point, the victim says another man came from behind the car and stole $350 from him.

According to the police affidavit, the victim told officers that the man also took his Presidential Class Rolex watch, worth about $10,000.

The victim could not provide a good description of the man, but said the female suspect was a white women in her 20s with shoulder length brown hair.

He said she was wearing a black dress with pink flowers and high heels. He also said she was wearing a pink arm cast on her right arm.
