3.6 magnitude earthquake shakes northwest Oklahoma

ALVA, Okla. –  An earthquake shook some residents on Monday night in northwest Oklahoma.

Around 10:25 p.m., the U.S. Geological Survey recorded a 3.6 magnitude earthquake 6 miles from Alva.

A 2.8 magnitude earthquake was also recorded around 9:50 p.m. 9 miles from Mooreland.
