Firefighters extinguish early morning blaze in S.E. Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY – Crews battled a serious fire that engulfed two connected buildings in southeast Oklahoma City early Thursday morning.

Just before 3 a.m., fire crews were called to reports of a fire near S.E. 12th and South Central Ave.

When crews arrived, a bar and a connected home were engulfed in flames.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze within 20 minutes.

Officials say it doesn’t appear anyone lives in the home.

Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
