OKLAHOMA CITY -- A couple is hoping police catch a man who allegedly broke into their car Sunday morning and opened their garage door.

"You don't expect it to happen, you know, in the daylight," Tiffany Goode said.

It was a quite morning in the Cascata Lakes neighborhood, and Tiffany and Tim Goode say they didn't see it coming.

"I wouldn't expect somebody to be watching my husband leave for the grocery store on a Sunday morning with just me with my dogs home," Goode said.

However, that's exactly what they say happened.

Tiffany says she was half asleep when she heard the garage door open, but she just assumed it was her husband.

"It was startling to me because when I came home I saw the garage door was open and I wasn't for sure if she had been out doing something. When I pulled up, I noticed her car door was open and that's when I kind of panicked a bit," Tim Goode said.

It was clear to them that someone broke into the car.

The Goodes reached out to their neighbors on the 'Nextdoor' app and got a response.

Luckily, one neighbor's cameras captured the whole thing, getting a clear image of the alleged suspect.

"I think he was looking into the person's vehicle down the street. They've got a Jeep and it's open so I think he was trying to see what was there and when he saw me drive off, he saw it as an opportunity," Tim Goode said.

They don't think the alleged suspect came inside because nothing is missing.

However, they say it was a close call.

The Goodes called police and will be filing a police report once they have all of the surveillance footage ready for officers.
