CUSHING, Okla. – Three counties are joining forces to search for a missing skydiver.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says the skydiver was from out of town and had completed several dives with a skydiving school in Cushing this afternoon.

After her last jump around 4 p.m., her parachute was found in a tree but she was nowhere around.

We’re told search teams were quickly formed and are currently searching for her near the Cimarron Correction Facility.

The sheriff has set up a staging area and an aerial search by helicopter is also in the works.
