Man in custody after allegedly breaking into ex-girlfriend’s home and assaulting her

MOORE, Okla. – One man is in custody after allegedly breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s home and assaulting her.

Around 2:30 a.m., police were called to the 900 block of Astoria in Moore on reports of an intruder

Police say a man and a woman were sleeping inside the home when a male suspect, who was reportedly armed with a handgun, broke into the home and assaulted the couple.

The male suspect is the female victim’s ex-boyfriend, officials say.

The male victim was able to disarm the suspect and hold him at gunpoint until police arrived.

Both victims sustained minor injuries.

The male suspect was taken into custody.
