Thunder Guard Cameron Payne Has Surgery

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Cameron Payne underwent surgery on his right foot on Monday, July 25, according to a news release from the team.

Payne had surgery to repair a Jones fracture and is expected to be ready for the start of the season.

Payne averaged 5 points a game in 57 games last season as a rookie.

He led the entire NBA Summer League in Orlando in scoring at 18 points a game.
