STILLWATER, Okla. - A lot of sweet things flow out of the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory store in Stillwater.
In addition to delicious treats bringing a smile to local residents' faces, Janna Boyer is working to spread happiness overseas.
For every pound of fudge someone buys, Boyer donates a pound to the troops.
She has shipped hundreds of pounds of chocolate to our service men and women, and has paid the hundreds of dollars of shipping fees out of her own pocket.
"Especially at holidays, any taste of home they can get... and I know that they are getting that, especially from someone local, it means the world to me as a mom," said Eva Turner.
Turner, whose son is a soldier, nominated Boyer for Pay It 4Ward.
Pat Apperson, Eva's mother, has four grandsons in the service, with three serving overseas.
Boyer's selfless gift brings tears to her eyes.
"It's like sending her heart," Apperson said. "To know that someone loves as much as you do and gives more than they can afford to."
Boyan Ganchev with First Fidelity Bank gave us the $400 to pay forward to Boyer.
When Turner surprise her with the money, Boyer was shocked and emotional while talking about the gifts to soldiers.
“It's nice to be able to send them a special treat from home. Just to let them know how much we appreciate what they are doing,” Boyer said. "I have received lots and lots of pictures and thank you notes by email. It makes me feel very good and something that I want to continue to do."
“It makes my heart happy," she added.
