Experts say it happens when your glutes have simply forgotten what to do because you're sitting too much.

Symptoms of Dormant Butt Syndrome include pain in the lower back, hips, knees and ankles.

Doctors suggest getting up and moving around, and starting an exercise routine that includes proper lifting.
