OKLAHOMA CITY - Police are searching for leads in an unsolved hit-and-run case in northwest Oklahoma City, after a man was hit and left for dead.
"I cannot raise my arm above my neck," said Zhong Kewen.
Bruised, sore and using a walking stick, Kewen is searching for answers.
"I want to know how this happened, how I was hit," Kewen said.
He was out for a walk around 10:30 p.m. at Blackwelder and N.W. 27th, when a car came out of nowhere.
All he remembers is what led up to the impact.
"I walk here just by the stop sign. N.W. 27th St. is over there. There are so many cars, so I decided to turn back. This is my last memory. I decided to turn back, then I lose my memory," he said.
Kewen woke up in the hospital with three broken ribs.
The only thing stronger than the pain is the anger over what happened.
"Maybe it's an accident. I could understand. What I cannot accept is I was left alone on the ground. That is unforgivable," he said.
He wants someone held responsible.
"Maybe, you can help the police to find who hit me," Kewen said.
It's been more than a week since the accident, and police have not made an arrest.
If you can help, give them a call.
