SEMINOLE, Okla. – A local animal shelter is trying to save a dog who came to them in pretty bad shape.

On Monday, the Seminole Animal Shelter picked up a dog and brought him back to the shelter.

At this point, it is not known whether a medical condition or abuse led to his deteriorated state.

However, workers at the shelter say he seems very happy and loving. In fact, he even knows how to sit on command.

Fortunately, the shelter is taking the dog, whom they named Gus, to a veterinarian to learn about his prognosis.
