OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police are on the hunt for a suspect after a stolen car ended up in Lake Overholser.

Authorities say when the owner of the car went into the 7-Eleven at N.W. 10th St. and County Line Rd., thieves got to work.

When the man came back out of the store, his car was gone.

A witness at Lake Overholser told police that they saw the car being driven into the lake around 11 p.m. on Monday.

When crews pulled the car out of the lake, they identified it as the stolen car.
