ENID, Okla. – An Oklahoma man has been arrested for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old girl.

On May 27, a 14-year-old girl was reported missing from Dubuque, Iowa.

The teen was last seen getting into a pickup with an Oklahoma tag after school.

Officials ran the tag and found out it was registered to 20-year-old Mason Randal Manning, from Enid, Okla.

On June 1, the Enid Police Department was contacted by the Dubuque Police Department in reference to the missing teen/runaway, the Enid News and Eagle reports.

Officers with the Enid Police Department then went to Manning’s home to question him about the missing teen.

Manning reportedly told officers he met the teen on the social media site, “KIK.”

Manning said the teen told him she had been abused by her family and had been bullied at school.

That is when the two planned for Manning to pick the girl up and bring her back to Oklahoma, the Enid News and Eagle reports.

He also allegedly admitted to having sex with the teen multiple times.

While officers were talking with Manning, the missing teen was found walking in a neighborhood a few blocks away, court records show.

Manning was arrested at his home on Aug. 2, 2016.

He is facing charges for three counts of second-degree rape.
