OSBI agents find body of possible missing 19-year-old Creek County man

Update: A body presumed to be that of Howard was found late Wednesday afternoon.

The body was found by a power easement near 61 Street and 481st east of Oilton.

OSBI special agents are on the scene to investigate the nature of this death.

It will be worked as a homicide, as agents wait for the medical examiner’s office to produce an autopsy report.

CREEK COUNTY, Okla. – Officials in Creek County are searching for leads related to the disappearance of a 19-year-old man.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says 19-year-old Lane David Howard was last seen Sunday morning at the Low Water Bridge near Buck Eye Creek in Creek County.

Investigators say Howard currently resides in Cushing.
