As Oklahoma Football prepares for the upcoming season, one of the biggest personnel questions arising on the defensive side of the ball is, who will start at corner opposite of Jordan Thomas.

Well there is a new name being mentioned in the defensive back conversation and that is Michiah Quick, but Quick is no new face on the Sooners roster, in fact he is joining the defense after two seasons as a wide receiver.

Head Coach Bob Stoops has said that when he initially recruited Quick out of Fresno, California, he saw him as a defensive back.

It is very easy to expect big things for Quick in 2016 as he looks to make an impact on the defensive side of the ball.
