OKLAHOMA CITY – An arrest warrant has finally been issued in connection to the 2012 murder of an Oklahoma City man.

Cody Davis, 21, was found shot to death in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 2700 block of N. Meridian in Oklahoma City in November, 2012.

Police said his car was found a couple of blocks away with bullet holes in it.

Davis’ death left his mother heartbroken.

“Why did you have to take my baby,” April Davis told KFOR in November, 2012. “That’s my baby. It’s senseless. It’s forever.”

April said her son was training to be an armed security guard.

For nearly four years, his murderer walked free.

Today, the Oklahoma City Police Department issued an arrest warrant for a suspect in the case.

Michiah Fauteux, 23, is wanted for first-degree murder in connection to Davis' death.

Anyone with information on Fauteux's whereabouts is asked to call the homicide tip-line at (405)297-1200.
