A Florida man, Calvin Lloyd Griffith, was arrested Wednesday on charges of grand theft, burglary, and trespassing after surveillance footage showed him entering a high school, taking an employee's keys, and driving off with a vehicle, according to a Miami-Dade Police arrest report.

When entering the court room for his first appearance Thursday the 30-year-old exclaimed, "My mom is here" and "Hi Mom".

When the court turned off his microphone as he continued to speak, Griffith began twerking to get the judges attention.

Presiding Judge Catherine Pooler was not amused, saying "He's got problems."

Griffith's mother was in court with a bag of prescription medications for her son. She claims he suffers from mental illness and was off his medication.

Griffith, who was already on probation for similar charges,  was ordered to be held in jail until his court appearance next Friday.
