SAN DIEGO, Calif. – A bright flash of light in the skies over San Diego had many people trying to get a closer look.

A car’s dashboard camera captured the light while driving on Thursday night, according to KGTV.

When KGTV asked the National Weather Service about the light, officials say they were not sure exactly what it was.

However, KABC reports that the blue-green streak of light was a meteor, adding that it was just brighter than normal.
