Up-and-coming rapper ‘Kid Cali’ killed at multimillion-dollar mansion pool party

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - A Los Angeles rapper was killed and two others were wounded during a shooting at a large pool party on Saturday night.

Police say details of the party were posted on social media and people whom the homeowners didn't know started showing up. At one point, officers believe a few hundred people were at the party.

Justin Lishey, who goes by the stage name 'Kid Cali,' posted on his Instagram about heading to the pool party on Saturday.

Witnesses told KABC that Lishey was involved in some sort of altercation before gunshots were heard.

According to KTLA, three people were shot in the backyard of the home.

Two of the victims drove themselves to an area hospital, where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

However, Justin Lishey died after arriving at the hospital.

Lishey, who goes by the stage name 'Kid Cali,' was a 30-year-old rapper who was signed to Jaccpot Records.

Many celebrities took to social media to pay tribute to Lishey.

So far, no arrests have been made.
