ENID, Okla. – An Oklahoma organization that is working to protect animals is now working to get one little kitten back on the right track.
Workers at the Enid SPCA say a nearby resident found a kitten in a dumpster on Thursday morning. The man took the kitten to the rescue, where it was then taken to a cat clinic for severe dehydration and anemia.
The organization says that since they don’t know how the kitten got into the trash, there is no current investigation.
The group is now collecting donations for his veterinary bills since he will require several weeks of care.
If you would like to donate, call (580) 233-1325 or visit the rescue’s website.
