Investigators discover there’s no truth to Oklahoma man’s claim he was mugged, brutally attacked with bat

WYNNEWOOD, Okla. – Authorities have learned there is no truth to an Oklahoma man’s claim that he was mugged and brutally attacked with a baseball bat in Wynnewood.

The man originally told police he was walking home from the EZ Mart in Wynnewood when two men approached him and asked for his wallet.

He said that when he refused, one of the men hit him in the back of the head with a bat.

Local authorities investigated the alleged crime¬†and discovered there was no truth to the man’s story.

According to the Pauls Valley Democrat, it appears the man was actually involved in an altercation with his son.

Investigators believe the man’s son is the one who struck him with a baseball bat.

The man could face charges for filing a false police report.
