OKLAHOMA CITY – A popular snack is being recalled after the company learned that small pieces of plastic may be mixed in the treats.

Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc. initiated a voluntary recall of Entenmann’s Little Bites Fudge Brownies (5 pack), Chocolate Chip Muffins (5 pack and 10 pack boxes) and Variety Pack (20 pack).

Officials say a manufacturing failure at a bakery in Illinois caused small pieces of plastic to get mixed into the treats.

According to the recall, the company has received several reports from customers about plastic being in the product and one injury was reported.

Officials say the Entenmann’s Little Bites Variety pack was sold in stores in Oklahoma.

The recalled products were distributed to stores across the country in the last two weeks.
