Week 1 of High School Football Kicks Off

Week 1 of the high school football season kicked off on Thursday, September 1, with a handful of games in the metro area, including a big rivalry on the south side of the metro.

The "Crosstown Clash" between Norman and Norman North was played at Owen Field, with North routing their rivals 58-0.

Millwood was a big winner over rival Star-Spencer, 64-0.

Putnam City West won at home over Duncan, 43-14.
