OKLAHOMA CITY – If you’re looking for a delicious meal, a local restaurant will be celebrating its anniversary with a special deal.

Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler first opened in Oklahoma in 1971 and soon spread to seven locations.

This Labor Day weekend, Johnnie’s is celebrating its 45th anniversary with half price basic burgers on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

“We are extremely grateful to this community for their support over the years,” said Rick Haynes, co-owner of Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler. “We’ve worked hard to maintain the commitment to the product and our customers that began 45 years ago. As a company, we’re proud to be celebrating this remarkable milestone.”

New locations in Yukon and Moore are set to open later this year.
