Hazmat crews investigate powdery substance found at Oklahoma City church

OKLAHOMA CITY – Officials at a church called authorities on Tuesday morning after finding a suspicious package.

Around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, hazmat crews responded to a church in the 2900 block of N.W. 66th St.

Investigators say a white powdery substance was discovered.

Less than an hour later, crews began leaving the scene after the substance was determined to not be hazardous.
