OKLAHOMA CITY – Two men are in custody after employees at an Oklahoma City business tracked them down following a theft.

On Sept. 12, officers were called to an Oklahoma City apartment complex after employees at an automotive parts manufacturing company say they tracked down a pair of thieves.

One of the employees told police that he saw three vehicles being stolen from the Mercer Valve parking lot in the middle of the afternoon.

According to the arrest affidavit, the employees chased after the alleged thieves and found them at an apartment complex in the 500 block of N. Council Rd.

Once there, witnesses told officers that two men got out of the cars and tried to run. However, the employees were able to confront them and hold them until police arrived.

A third vehicle headed in a different direction and got away.

Officers arrested 21-year-old Cody Dwayne Early, Jr.  and 19-year-old Andrew Dylan Jordan on larceny of motor vehicle charges.
