OKLAHOMA CITY – It was a fun afternoon at the station on Wednesday when we had the opportunity to give a deserving family four tickets to the big game on Saturday.

Homes by Taber, along with MLJ Landscaping and KFOR’s Linda Cavanaugh presented our game day giveaway winner, Nick Mauldin, with those tickets.

Mauldin is in the Army and is stationed in South Korea. He is currently home on an 18 day leave right now.

Nick’s brother nominated him to win the tickets.

Mauldin says he and his three sons are looking forward to the showdown between the Sooners and the Buckeyes.

“You couldn’t have a better trip, getting to come home and then getting tickets to the OU-OSU game. I’m just excited as can be. I just thank you guys very, very much. It’s very kind of you. We will appreciate it and we will have a great time and it will be a family memory that we will remember,” he said.

Those tickets were donated by MLJ Landscaping and Homes by Taber through the “Taber Cares” program.
