OKLAHOMA CITY – Strong storms are being blamed for an accident along a busy area in northwest Oklahoma City.

Shortly before 4 p.m., emergency crews were called to an overturned semi-truck near I-44 and Classen Blvd.

Initial reports indicate that a microburst toppled the semi-truck and trapped the driver.

Tragically, officials with the Oklahoma City Fire Department say the driver died from his injuries after being pinned under the truck.

Traffic along eastbound I-44 is being diverted onto Pennsylvania Ave. due to the accident.
