OTTUMWA, Iowa – An Iowa teenager who was arrested for sexually assaulting a baby will serve no jail time for the crime.

According to KTVO, Kraigen Grooms was just 17-years-old when he was arrested for sexually assaulting a 1-year-old child.

Authorities say Grooms posted photos of himself performing sex acts with the baby to a child pornography website, which got the attention of officials.

Grooms pleaded guilty to one count of engaging in a lascivious act with a child in July.

Wapello County Attorney Gary Oldenburger told KTVO that Grooms was sentenced on Monday to a 10-year suspended sentence and five years of supervised release.

He will also be required to register as a sex offender for life.
