Oklahoma's football team has the weekend off after a 45-24 loss to Ohio State last Saturday, and stand at 1-2 on the season.

The Sooners probably need the bye week to regroup and heal some injuries before they resume the schedule a week from Saturday at TCU.

OU's two losses have come to 6th-ranked Houston and 2nd-ranked Ohio State, but that doesn't make being 1-2 any easier, and the OU head coach knows his team has to play better, and it starts with quarterback Baker Mayfield.
