ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – A woman is behind bars after she allegedly hit a man with her car over a parking space.

Police told KOB that it all started when a man said he was saving a parking spot at the Route 66 Casino for his wife.

Authorities say that made 45-year-old Yvonne Aragon upset, which caused her to drive into the victim.

“He dd have significant bruising to his leg that matched, actually, a skeleton license plate that she had on her car,” said Capt. Andi Taylor, with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office.

At that point, officials say the man threw a cup of a coffee on the hood of her car and Aragon allegedly pulled out a gun.

Taylor alleges that Aragon said, “Why don’t I just shoot you?”

When officers arrived, Aragon admitted to hitting the victim with her car but says she never pointed a gun at him.

Aragon was arrested and is now facing charges.

“Potentially, she has felonies on her record all because she was impatient and decided to react in a hostile, negative manner,” Taylor said.
