Troopers identify pedestrian killed while trying to cross I-35

OKLAHOMA CITY – A Tulsa man is dead following a deadly accident along I-35 on Wednesday night.

Around 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers were called to a crash involving a pedestrian along northbound I-35, near N.W. 122nd St.

Officials say they know 23-year-old Lewis Jaiman, of Tulsa, was attempting to cross the busy interstate when he was hit by several cars who were unable to stop in time.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

At this point, investigators are not sure exactly what caused Jaiman to cross the highway.

The wreck remains under investigation.
