Drive-by shooting near N.W. 22nd and May left one man injured

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police have released more details on a drive-by shooting that left one man injured.

Around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, police were called to reports of a shooting in the 2900 block of N.W. 22nd.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.

The victim told police that he was talking with friends in the front yard of the home when a black 4-door car drove by and the suspect inside the car started shooting at the group.

The victim and witnesses at the scene said they did not recognize the shooter.

The victim was transported to a local hospital to be treated for his wound.

Shell casings and a magazine found at the scene were taken into evidence.
