OKLAHOMA CITY – Police have arrested a woman in connection to the 2015 murder of an Oklahoma City man.

On Aug. 13, 2015, 28-year-old Brendon Turner was found stabbed to death inside a home along S. Kelley Ave.

Investigators say Turner’s mother is the one who found him.

A medical examiner later determined Turner’s exact cause of death to be homicide by multiple sharp force injuries.

In June 2016, officials in Oklahoma County issued a warrant for the arrest of 30-year-old Sumeika Byrd.

This week, Byrd was arrested after authorities received information that she was staying in Tulsa.
