DALLAS, Texas – Thousands of Sooner fans are expected to head south of the Red River for an annual rivalry game.

The Oklahoma Sooners will take on the Texas Longhorns inside the Cotton Bowl on Saturday.

Kickoff is set for 11:30 a.m.

However, there are a few things drivers should know before hitting the road.

At this point, all lanes of I-35 are expected to be open to traffic between Oklahoma City and the Texas border beginning Friday afternoon through Monday.

Officials with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation say they expect very heavy traffic along I-35, meaning drivers should allow extra time for the drive.
