OKLAHOMA CITY – Police are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted two women, one of them pregnant, in a park.

Two women told police they were assaulted and robbed in Rotary Park on Tuesday evening.

"I was really worried about her, mainly her,” said one of the victims, who wanted to remain anonymous.

That woman is eight months pregnant and, that evening, she feared for both of their lives.

"Me and my aunt were just walking at the park and, then, all of a sudden, we hear someone like run up behind us like try to talk to us,” the woman said.

According to the police report, the man showed romantic interested in the two but they refused him.

"He was like insisting and insisting and, then, I told him, no, you know what, I'm married. I showed him my rings, and I'm like, no, I'm married, leave me alone,” she said.

However, the suspect wouldn’t take no for an answer.

"He got aggressive and pushed me to the floor. Since my rings were loose, he took them."

Her aunt tried to help her up but, then, he pushed her too and ran off.

While the victim said the rings were special to her, that wasn’t even on her mind.

"I didn't even care about the rings at the moment. I just cared about me and my baby,” she said.

The women were able to give police a clear description of the suspect, and they’re hoping police find the guy.

“The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 20 to 28 years old with a mustache and spiky dark hair. He was only speaking Spanish during the whole ordeal,” said Megan Morgan with the Oklahoma City Police Department.

"Thankfully, he didn't hit us or do anything worse to us,” the victim told NewsChannel 4.

Police are asking anyone who may have been at Rotary Park on Tuesday evening and saw the suspect to call them.
