OKLAHOMA CITY – Police in Oklahoma City are searching for an alleged burglar with a familiar accessory.

Authorities released photos of a man accused of breaking into a vehicle near N.W. 146th and Council Rd.

The man appears to be wearing an ankle monitor on his left ankle.

Ankle monitors typically alert officials if someone has ventured beyond their allowed range. However, experts say they do not have GPS capabilities.

Police say it appears the alleged suspect is in violation of parole.
