Family witnesses shooting and killing of Quavis Cato.

TULSA, Okla. – Authorities in Louisiana arrested a 20-year-old man who is accused of murdering a Tulsa man earlier this week.

Police say 20-year-old Joe Johnson shot and killed 25-year-old Quavis Cato on Monday in broad daylight.

Family members told KJRH that Cato’s fiancée, Karen, and her sister witnessed the murder.

“His last words to me were, ‘Baby, you’re going to be OK and I love you,” Karen told KJRH.

Family members allege that Johnson shot Cato around 12 times before fleeing the scene.

Investigators say the shooting occurred after an argument between Johnson and Cato about a car.

On Wednesday night, police in Baton Rouge arrested Johnson for Cato’s murder.
