Fire officials: 4 pets killed in southwest Oklahoma City house fire

OKLAHOMA CITY – Firefighters rushed to a southwest Oklahoma City neighborhood on Friday morning to battle a house fire.

Around 9 a.m., firefighters were called to a home near S.W. 69th St. and May Ave. on a fire.

Witnesses reported seeing smoke coming from the eaves of the home.

Fortunately, fire crews were able to knock down the fire quickly.

Sadly, four pets died in the fire.

There were no human occupants home at the time of the blaze.
