AZLE, Texas — Good news this morning for the family of Caroll Lawson, he was found safe this morning just after 4 a.m. in Azle, Texas.

The Perry Police Department confirmed the news that the 83-year-old Perry resident has family currently on the way to Texas to bring him back home to Oklahoma.

Officials thought Lawson was possibly on his way to Oklahoma City from Perry when he disappeared Friday morning around 10 a.m. leaving his home. Lawson suffers from dementia and his daughter was said to be relieved to get the phone call that her dad was found safe.
