UPDATE: Police searching for man after 2 officers injured, 2 others dead

LINCOLN COUNTY, Okla. – Authorities in Lincoln County are looking for a suspect, Michael Vance, after two officers were shot near Wellston Sunday evening.

Police originally responded to a shots fired call around 6:30 p.m.

Vance opened fire with an AK-47 and shot two Wellston police officers.

He then took off in one of the patrol cars into pastures, according to Lincoln County Sheriff Deputies.

From there, he carjacked a woman, shot her, and took off again.

The two officers and the woman received non-life threatening injuries.

Two people were then found dead at Triple X Road and 206th St. where he stole a silver 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse with an Oklahoma plate.

Vance is considered armed and dangerous.
