Oklahoma City — An overnight fire forces a family out of their home around 1 a.m. this morning.

Neighbors called 911 to report the fire that happened on Lindley Avenue near Villa. When crews arrived they found a storage shed in the backyard engulfed in flames which then spread to the house.

The family made it out of the house safely but the damage was significant. The Red Cross was called to help find the family a place to stay. No word on what started the fire.
