Man runs over woman in Bricktown and tries to flee the scene

Oklahoma City — Just after 1 a.m. this morning a man tried to drive out of a parking lot in Bricktown when he struck a pedestrian.

Officials confirm the man pulled out in front of the crowd in his white dually pickup truck, running over a woman’s foot with his front left tire, then running over her shoulder with his back left tires.

The suspect tried to flee the scene but a police officer witnessed the entire incident and quickly detained the suspect. Police confirmed alcohol was a  factor and the suspect is currently being booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.

The victim was rushed to a local hospital, it is unclear at this time the extent of her injuries.
