NORMAN, Okla. – Americans across the country are honoring veterans who have sacrificed for our country, including two men who will be front and center for OU’s game this weekend.

The University of Oklahoma decided to surprise a couple of deserving veterans with a personal FaceTime call from OU head coach Bob Stoops.

Boomer and Sooner surprised Justin Cook, a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and David Lodes, a veteran of the Oklahoma Army National Guard.

Coach Stoops personally thanked both of the men for their service to the country and gave them four tickets to OU’s game on Saturday against the Baylor Bears.
